Harvey A. Gertsch (AHC) founded 89A in November of 2004 in Tempe, Arizona after a brief retirement from SuToCon Inc and Three G Industries, which he founded in 1980 and sold in 2000. He went to work setting up a modern day service center to provide custom hollow metal doors, frames, finish hardware, and wood doors to a select clientele on a wholesale only basis. Today the goal is to provide quality products with competitive pricing on a quick ship basis; this required 89A to have a very substantial inventory to furnish unsurpassed customer service.
As time passed our product line expanded to include impact doors, roof hatches, access panels, toilet accessories, toilet partitions, and metal lockers. Along with these products Jack Heninger developed software systems that allowed us to offer complete estimates from architectural drawings, which include engineering drawings and hardware schedules.
We provide direct shipping from our manufacturing facility in Tempe to job sites and user facilities worldwide. All shipments are crated for protection to insure their arrival at the destination damage free. No job is too small or too far for 89A to provide the service you request.
As of January 2013, 89A became one of the few Stanley Master Distributors, which has enabled us to provide our products directly to the end user. The increased inventory level gives our customer base access to quality products and competitive pricing on a quick ship basis.
